We are learning how to be independent readers and using new skills to improve our reading. It is exciting to have the students groan when I say stop reading so we can move on to a new activity. We are writing letter to our favorite authors. Last year, we had two authors answer back. I can only hope they will answer this year.
We are reading "Tex" by S.E.Hinton at this time. The questions have been emailed to the students.
